Seasame seeds export

Sesame seeds are grains from the sesame crop, grown especially for this oilseed. Sesame seed contains protein, fibre and healthy fats, hence sought in high quantities for these nutritional benefits. Sesame seeds can be found in high amounts in Jigawa and Benue states. Nigeria is currently the 7th largest producer of this commodity in the world. Sesame export destinations are Turkey, Japan, India, South Korea and Germany.
