We are excited that you are one of our Stock professionals.
Stock footages are pre-recorded still imagery, video clips, audio clips or any form of audiovisual design made available for licensing and use in various film, television, audiovisual and multimedia projects. This footage must be shot professionally and cover multiple subjects, such as landscapes, cityscapes, wildlife, people, events, and abstract scenes.
Fottages will be licenced for a variety of projects, including advertisements, documentaries, corporate videos, educational materials, and social media content. Stock footage serves many purposes: B-Roll, backgrounds, fillers, special effects, and much more.
Our goal is to create Africa's most extensive stock library within the next 12 months. We want to elevate the image and brand "Africa" by providing authentic and representative footage for global use. Stock can change narrative and perception.
BAsic terms:
So, welcome to the mission. As one of our stock Armies, here are our basic terms:
One Stock unit is imagery (still or moving) containing the same elements, though shot from several angles.
One "still" stock unit must have a minimum of 2 angles and provided in Landscape (16:9) or portrait format.
"Still" stock must be delivered in two formats: 1.) raw file and 2.) PNG.
One "moving" stock unit includes ZERO cut edit and must be shot sequentially. The minimum run time is 30 seconds, and the maximum is 90 seconds. A minimum of HD quality is required. Where Audio is significant, clear Audio must also be included as a separate file. For example, when a tap is running, the Audio is important for the whole experience.
"Moving" stock must be delivered in MP4 format.
Fees & Licensing:
Per still, a 2000 (Two thousand Naira Only) Creator-fee + 1000 (One thousand Naira Only) Protagonist-fee is paid upon delivery, plus 10% Creators-commission and 5% Protagonist-commission on sales of every stock unit for 5 years.
Per moving unit, a 3000 (Two thousand Naira Only) Creator-fee + 2000 (One thousand Naira Only) Protagonist-fee is paid upon delivery, plus 10% Creators-commission and 5% Protagonist-commission on sales of every stock unit for 5 years.
Per moving unit with significant Audio, a 1000 (Two thousand Naira Only) Creator-fee + 1000 (One thousand Naira Only) Protagonist-fee is paid upon delivery, plus 10% Creators-commission and 5% Protagonist-commission on sales of every stock unit for 5 years.
*After 5 years, PactBuddy receives full ownership without claims. PactBuddy may waive any further fees at its discretion, but this is not compulsory.
As we grow and learn more about the Landscape, our customers, and what they want and are ready to pay for, we will adjust these terms to benefit our ecosystem, which includes you, the protagonist in the footage, and us.
Exclusivity:
PactBuddy owns the stock made for PactBuddy based on our orders. The duplicate stock footage cannot be licensed, published, sold to a third party, or released by the creator.
Uploading/Delivery:
Senior Stock Creator can upload Stock content directly to the platform. All other creators can share the stock via Dropbox only. No other sharing platform is accepted.
